Pam Bridgman

Pam has a wealth of experience in the medical sector, having worked in Australia and Africa as well as the UK. Pam has spent 17 years working in general practice, setting up a full counselling service at 3 GP Practices and raising the profile of counselling within these practices.  Until recently Pam also worked at the Occupational Health Department at Stoke Mandeville Hospital.

Pam is committed to counselling individuals, couples and families to facilitate and enable people to reach their full potential and to this end she continually updates her qualifications and her interest in counselling with continuing professional development.  She has completed numerous courses including: Grief and Bereavement, Crisis Intervention, Eating Disorders and Assessment of Suicide Risk.

Pam has extensive experience working with Abuse, Anger Management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cancer, Child Related Issues, Depression, General Counselling, Health Related Issues, Identity Problems, Loss, Obsessions, OCD, Personal Development, Phobias, Post Traumatic Stress, Relationships, Self Esteem, Sex Related Issues, Stress, Womens’ issues, Work Related issues.

Pam is married with four children and has lived locally for many years. She enjoys outdoor pursuits including swimming and gardening and can often be seen walking in the beautiful Chilterns in the Oxfordshire countryside.
