Podiatry

Sue Spicer qualified as a Chiropodist over 25 years ago.  Since then she has been continually expanding her practice in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. She is a member of the British Chiropody Association and is registered with the Health Professions’ Council.

Podiatry/Chiropody
Podiatry and Chiropody are one and the same.  Podiatry is the term most widely used in other English speaking countries and has now been adopted in the UK.

How Chiropody can help you:

More than 80% of people develop foot problems at some time during their lives.  These range from relatively minor to the potentially crippling, but all involve patient discomfort.

The podiatrist is dedicated to the prevention and correction, where possible of these disorders and in addition to alleviating the discomfort they cause.

Conditions Treated:
A wide variety of conditions can be treated including:

  • Painful corns and calluses
  • Hard dry skin
  • Nail conditions
  • Fungal infections
  • Verrucae
  • Bunions
  • Diabetic foot care
  • Footwear advice

The aim is to work with you to develop a personal foot care routine that will improve the health and comfort of your feet.  Advice and education play an important role in all treatments and Sue is always happy to answer any queries you may have.
